The Marina sponsored a Christmas in July event that was initiated last year by several of the boaters on my dock. Boaters dressed in Christmas costumes, and many of the boats were decorated in Christmas lights. Lulu won a prize for her Mrs. Claus costume. She is now so stuck up that she barks at all the other dogs as she walks down the dock. The Marina restaurant put on a nice buffet in a separate room for our event.
