A looper boat pulled into our marina and I assisted them with their lines. As it turned out, we had met them at the Alligator River Marina on the Inland Waterway in NC. David and Leigh Pfefferkorn on Pamlico Star and their quests Evelyn and Phil spent two days at the Marina. We had dinner together at the Thousand Islands Country Club across the street from the Marina. Here is a picture I took as they were leaving this afternoon:

Today was a beautiful day and we took a ride on the St Lawrence River and took pictures of the many historical Island Cottages. Here are some of the pictures That I took within two miles of our marina:

Took Lulu for her first Dinghy ride today. She is proving to be a good boat dog. Here is a picture that Brenda took from the Bow of the boat. She is so small you may need to enlarge the picture to get a clear look at her. Notice that we are both wearing PFD's. Mine is for my own safety and in case I have to go in after Lulu; she seems to have no fear of the water.

Unfortunately we have had a lot of rain that resulted in flooding and slows down the lowering of the river level. The golf course has been closed for two days, but has now opened for walking.
We took the boat over to Alexandria Bay this morning to get a pump out; we can't use the pump out at our marina because the water level is so high that Brenda cannot get off the boat to tie up the lines.
Here is a pictures of Alexandria Bay from the River:

There was a 30's era Trumphy docked at the Hutchinson's fuel dock. The name of the boat was "Enticer" with a hailing port of Newport, R.I.

When we got back to our marina, Brenda hit the laundry and I started to wax the boat. I got about a third of the boat done, and I'll continue to work on it in the coming days.

At the end of the day, it was time for Lulu and I to take a little nap.

Today was Christmas in July at the TI Club Marina. A few of the folks on our dock initiated this theme event, and approximately 35 to 40 people participated. The event consisted of decorating the boats and/or dockboxes, an ugly T shirt contest, a docktales party on the lawn at 5, and a buffet dinner at the TI Club. Here are a few pictures I took of this event:

This is our boat with Lulu and our Christmas tree display in the Cockpit.

This is Doc Mina in his winning Ugly T Shirt. He had a vertebrae necklace, and stains on his shirt labled  "blood", "poop", etc.  On the back he had a picture of his boat labled "This is what I look Forward to on the Weekend"
