We attended a Boat Naming Ceremony on our dock. Andy and Darcy Schaab and their dog Coco conducted a boat naming ceremony for "Our Tranquility" complete with champagne for all of their guests. Their new boat is a 43 ft overall Riviera:

The boat has two helm stations; one on the flybridge and on in the Salon. This is the Lower Helm Station

The Ceremony was attended by many boaters; and Andy and Darcy provided Champagne for everyone to toast the boat.

Boaters on the Dock await the start of the Naming Ceremony.

Andy began the ceremony by reading from the dock and followed up on the bow of the boat and anointed it with Champagne to the East, West, North and South of "Our Tranquility".
Andy, Darcy, and Coco on the bow.

All raised their glasses in toast to "Our Tranquility" as Andy anointed the ship with Champagne.

Andy read the following:
"Oh mighty and Great Ruler of the seas and oceans, to whom all ships and we who venture upon your vast domain are required to pay homage, implore you in your graciousness to take unto your records and recollection this vessel hereto after and for all time known as "Our Tranquility", guarding her with your mighty arm and trident and ensuring her of safe and rapid passage throughout her journeys within your realm...……."
