July 4th, 2019

We had a great 4th of July with our daughter Katherine and Grandson Andrew. We played 18 holes of golf, hung out on the boat, listened to Andrew play his guitar, and ended the day watching a great fireworks display. The fireworks were fired from Bolt Castle which is next to our marina. We had front row seats from the Flybridge of the boat. We all enjoyed the fireworks except Lulu who hid in the lowest portion of the boat. She does not like the sound of fireworks or thunder.

Brenda did not play, but drove the cart while Katherine played. We are all amazed at how well Katherine plays considering that she only plays a few times per year.

Here is Andrew on the courses signature hole. That is the Lake of the Isles beyond the green that separates Wellesley Island from Canada's Hill Island. Andrew played very well, and can hit the ball a long way; I was impressed. He started off by driving the First green, a 391 yard dogleg. He cut the dogleg, over the trees and ended up on the back of the green. Impressive!

Nice follow through Andrew

Here I am on the same hole. Obviously, I am not as limber as Andrew.

Back on the boat, Andrew broke out his guitar on the Flybridge.

Katherine Laid back and enjoyed the music
Brenda and Lulu listening to the music.

Capt Bill sits back with a Miller Lite and enjoyed Andrews Music.
