Around 10 AM this morning I heard fire sirens, and saw a hugh plume of black smoke coming from the Marina next door. I  rode over to get a look at what was happening. A boat was on fire in the marina. It appeared to be about a 40 ft boat, and thankfully it was not docked near other boats. This marina has few boats in it due to the high water and damage to many of the docks. Here are a few pictures that I took this morning:

The boat burned just about to the waterline. The Alex Bay Fire Boat came over and assisted the fire trucks in putting the fire out. It looked like they had foam mixed with the water. The fire was put out after the Fire Boat arrived. The boat is a total loss. It did not appear that there was anyone on board; and I don't know the cause of the fire.

This afternoon the remains of the burned boat was towed through our basin by TowBoatUS. Ironically, the name of the damaged boat was "Game Over".
Here are pictures I took as it went by my boat.
