Sunday, Monday, Tuesday July 1 thru 4, 2017

Played golf on Sunday and Monday, and Man did I suck after not playing for over a month. Only played 16 holes on Sunday,  and on Monday I shot a rousing 93! I guess I need some practice.

We took a boat ride into Alexandrea Bay today and tied up at the town dock. We walked into town and visited the many shops. We had lunch at the Dock of the Bay which is at the end of the town dock. Steamers and Lobster Bisque!

Tony Mantini will remember the Dock of The Bay since we each had several orders of Steamers there when he came up to help me take the boat from A Bay to South Carolina. Tony and I left the Dock of the Bay that night after a bakers dozen of Miller Lite's and went to Tony's new favorite place: "Skiffs" for a few more; It was the only place open at that time of night.  Here is a picture of Tony's favorite Pub in A Bay:

A picture looking down at the town dock. EASTNOR is the first boat on the dock.

This Giant Chess Game is one of the attractions in a small park on the main street in Alexandria Bay.

We left A Bay and took a ride down the River and around Bolt Castle. Here is the Bolt Castle Boat house. Notice the high doors that open to allow a schooner to enter with their masts.

Heart Island and Bolt Castle. The building at the base of the island is the generator house which provided power to the Castle. A tour boat is docking with tourists from Canada.

We are now back at out dock. Here is the view from our cockpit.

Lulu is enjoying her new home. She is happy that she can go in and out of the salon to the cockpit. Here she is on the cockpit looking into the salon:
