We had a great ride up the Chesapeake from Solomon's Island to Annapolis. The water was flat; perfect for cruising. What a comparison to the ride from hell we had yesterday! We left at 7:55 AM and arrived at Chesapeake Harbor Marina at 2:00 PM. I had a difficult time getting marina reservations due to the Holiday weekend. I had great reservations downtown, but had to cancel when we were delayed by weather. Chesapeake Harbor is a little out of town, but they provide a shuttle service into Annapolis.
