Maintenance and improvements:

Over the past several months we have been doing preventive maintenance and making improvements to the boat including installing a central vacuum system, new anchor, tuning up the diesel engine, and servicing the heating/air conditioning systems.
We had David of South East Marine of the Carolinas service the reverse air heating air conditioning units including blowing out the lines.
My golf buddy and expert cabinet maker, Bob Mackey, built and installed a cabinet door on a space that used to house a tube TV. I bought a flat screen that sits above the Cabinets and can now use the cabinet space for storage. He did an excellent job in configuring the door and matching the teak finish.

I also had the fuel in my two 150 gallon tanks polished by Davis Diesel. Owner Nate Davis also made some improvements and serviced my Caterpillar 3126, 300 HP engine. He checked out the injectors and adjusted the valves. As a result of his work, the engine is running better that it did when it was new.  I highly recommend Davis Diesel located in Leland, NC.

Another friend who resides on his boat at Myrtle Beach Yacht Club figured out a wiring problem that I had with the bilge pumps. Greg Indrysek figured it out and made the repairs. Thanks Greg.

Randy McCormick, RM Repair, worked on a number of improvements including installing a central vacuum system, improved holding tank venting, among other repairs. Randy is a very skilled marine repair tech that works in the Little River, SC area. I highly recommend him. The boat is completely torn apart in this picture; the definition of work in process!

We also had Sunset Canvas, Little River, SC make and install a new top on the fly bridge canvas. They had previously re sewn all of the stitching on the canvas. I also highly recommend them.
