I was invited to join a ROMEO Breakfast group. ROMEO is an acronym for "Retired Old Men Eating Out".
We plan to meet for breakfast every other Tuesday at a different restaurant. Richard Gamble, who organized the event, selected topics for discussion, i.e. 1., Canadian Healthcare, 2., Gene Therapy, and 3., Boating stories. One of the attendees was named Gene, and the question came up as to whether the second topic was about him. We touched on all three topics during breakfast.
There were two boats that came across the river to Alexander Bay, and a couple of others came by auto. Here we are at the town dock.
The Chez Parie restaurant did a great job of feeding us all.
This is a picture of Nobby Island that we passed on the way home.
This boat dropped me off at my dock at the Thousand Island Club. The rest of the guys live on Tennis Island a short distance from my Marina.
We lost a fender coming in, and it was retrieved after they dropped me off.
When I got back to the boat, Lulu took me for a walk.
