Another rainy day! I went over and joined the golf course this morning, and went to the Post Office to set up a PO Box for our mail. So those two items make this our temporary home through September. We went to the fish fry at Hackers Restaurant at the golf course last night; we saw a lot of friends.
The water level is receding quite a bit. Here are two pictures I took a week ago when I dropped my car off.

Here are todays Pictures

The water Level is high because of a larger than normal snow melt and rain run off, plus the fact that a new international commission was established to control Water levels on the River. They over did it with the depth of the river. They are now letting out 367,300 cubic ft of water per second since June 14th. This has resulted in restrictions on boat and ship traffic. For example, Ships can only operate down River if they have bow thrusters.

At the end of the day we had an impromptu dock party with dips, snacks, and  steamers. A great way to end the day.
